Did you know that pharmacists can now prescribe medications for minor ailments and oral contraceptives? If your doctor can’t see you right away or the walk-in clinic is taking too long, pharmacists in BC can now assess and prescribe for certain ailments such as acne, headaches, allergies, acid reflux, heartburn, UTIs, cold sores and more! To take advantage of this service, you must be a BC Resident with MSP coverage, otherwise you will be required to pay a private fee of $35.
